Twisted Beeswax Candle Couple

I was introduced to third generation candle artisans via a local guide. My close friends and I spent hours with the young couple who are the next generation for this family business and tradition. We drank homemade mezcal from a glass gallon jug while laughing and sharing story in Spanglish. We all left with boxes of candles, bee pollen, drinking chocolate and clay pots for burning resin. Their beeswax is wild harvested and they dye their wax with natural pigment. Discovered in Teotitlan del Valle, Mexico.
